What coils does the Geekvape Aegis Boost 40W use?
The Aegis Boost 40W uses Geekvape B Series coils â the same coil ecosystem shared with the Aegis Hero 2. The kit includes a 0.4Ω and a 0.6Ω coil. Replacement coils are available in our accessories section.
Is the Aegis Boost 40W waterproof?
Yes. The IP67 Tri-Proof rating means it's protected against dust and can be submerged in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. The silicone pod seal also helps prevent any leaking internally.
How is the Aegis Boost different from the H45?
The H45 Aegis Hero 2 has a slightly larger 1400mAh battery, a bigger TFT screen, and up to 45W output. The Boost is slightly more compact and runs on a 1500mAh battery with a 40W ceiling. Both share the same coil platform. The H45 is generally the more current device.
